President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) known as Kurt Okraku, has disclosed snippets of his first interaction with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

President the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt Okraku, has revealed snippets of his first-ever interaction with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Kurt paid a civility call to the President Akufo-Addo a few days after commencing work as GFA President.

The visit was purposely for official introduction for the former Dreams FC man who had taken over the seat that was previously occupied by Kwesi Nyantakyi.

It has now appeared that Nana Akufo-Addo made a petition to Kurt Okraku at that meeting.

The first observasion by the President according to Kurt was to inquire about when the country’s trophy drought was going to end.

Kurt disclosed that the president is deeply reviewed by the drought which has lasted for almost four decades.

“I will go back to my engagement with the President. In the conversation he asked the question that ‘Mr President when will we begin to bring the big trophies to Ghana’”?

Kurt Okraku uttered that he couldn’t give the President an outright answer but poised him that with good planning and a good foundation, trophies will be brought to Ghana soon

The visit served as an official introduction for the former Dreams FC man who had taken over the seat previously occupied by Kwesi Nyantakyi.

It has now emerged that Nana Akufo-Addo made a request to Kurt Okraku at that meeting.

The first remark by the President according to Okraku was to inquire about when the country’s trophy drought was going to end.

Kurt revealed on GhanaWeb’s Sports Check that like every Ghanaian, the president is deeply concerned by the drought which has lasted almost four decades.

“I will go back to my engagement with the President. In the conversation he asked the question that ‘Mr President when will we started bring the big trophies to Ghana’”?

Kurt Okraku says he couldn’t give the President an outright answer but assured him that with good planning and a good foundation, trophies will be won soon.
